Hi Heather you probably don't remember me but I have been down on one of your courses many years agao and used to see you when you came over to East Sussex. Well basically I lost my nerve and stopped riding for 6-7 years (and in the last years was just pottering about) but now I have been encouraged to start again and have been hacking out a pony. The passion is returning (oh dear says husband - more money  laugh) and so I have joined here for encouragement and support. Its lovely to see that so many people are now understanding more about riding - when I started on this 'path' with my instructor oh 15+ years ago we were lone voices and everyone thought we were made. The only frustrating thing now is that they have discovered 'proper riding' I keep being told about it as if I know nothing at all. Zipped mouth and all that  wink Anyway glad to join you all.
