Hello everyone!

I'm Hannah. I visited Heather last week, and had a brilliant time, so decided I better join to find out more!

I have 3 horses; Stroller my welsh part bred who I've ridden since I was 14 (I'm 21 today, lol) and owned since I was 16; Patch, technically my sisters dutch warmblood but she has gone to university now so I'm in charge; and Bramble a pony from Redwings who was frightened of everything when we got him 6 months ago but is much braver now and usually up to something naughty! I started riding lessons when I was 6, but both my parents rode and owned horses when they were younger. I mainly hack, but have started doing a bit of dressage this summer. I am just going into my second year at university, studying Illustration. I work "part time" (I'm there more than at home) for a BHSII, who is lovely and has been very good to me, but is very 'BHS'. She has two beautiful dressage horses who I am lucky enough to get lots of lessons on, and two youngsters who keep me on my toes.

Looking forward to learning more about the Enlightened approach!

Thanks everyone! Claire I have heard that so many times today!

Okay, let me see what I can do about pictures...

Stroller and I, and Poppy (my sister) and Patch on a sponsored ride last month. Its taken us a long time to get Patch hacking reasonably quietly (she still jogs at corners and if she knows a canter is coming up, and prefers to go down hills backwards rather than forwards!) but she was brilliant on this day, and put up with other horses tanking past her etc.

Patch and I this morning. Its the first time I've ridden her in months.

Stroller again.

Bramble trying to tell us something.

Bramble and Stroller at a show yesterday. There are some photos of Stroller and I competing here. (I'm the one in the tweed jacket) We scraped 56%, but we arrived to the show late  and I only had 6 minutes to warm up in!  doh Oh well, we got there and back safely and both boys loaded perfectly. Stroller didn't load at all for the first 19 years of his life, and only started to in June. Bramble was, as with everything, frightened of the horse box. But here he is this morning...

...sneaking in there to look for pony nuts while my Dad was cleaning it up!

So thats my herd.  Cheesy
