On Thursday 2nd July i had to make the hardest decision of my life to put my old girl to sleep

at the grand age of 16 years old!!
I really can not believe she has gone, over the past 16 years she has been my rock and kept me grounded through some difficult times. A dog is truly a mans best friend and i will never have another like her.
I bought her when i was 20 years old as an 8 week old puppy. She was the cheekiest little thing you have ever met and grew to be one of the most intelligent dog you could wish to meet.
God i have got so much to say but completely stuck for words.
My passion at the time was for competition obedience which equates to doggie dressage! She had the most stylish heel work and so much enthusiasm to work. She won her first ever novice competition and would of surely gone all the way to test c if it wasn't for her mum wanting to dedicate more time to horses

She had a whole repertoire of tricks, jumping over my back through my arms and over my leg, she would weave in and out of my legs as i walked,,,,,yes i was a human agility course

.
Once a year at a Asoka stud we would hold an annual display where our pony mascot Kestrel and Tosca would do a pa de deux for which i taught her to "rear" rein back half pass and spanish walk to copy Kestrel and he would lie down sit up both ending with a bow.
She was helpful around the house passing me to remote control putting rubbish in the bin and closing doors behind her.
I have rescued many dogs over the years and she help put all the un ruley ones in there place before i found them new homes! My other German shepherd Carla and Revous where both brought up with her help, they never quiet gained the same intelligence but she tried

Somebody once said to me that Tosca wouldn't leave me till she new i was ok, and do you know what i am

RIP my dear friend
