Heather

how did you get along with the Coprameal, or did they not really like it?

Interesting product - can this be used as a total hay replacer?

Hi Von,

Some of them liked the copra, but we felt the linseed meal we use was better for our purposes, others hated it!!

Fibre Gold is a complete feed, replacing traditional grains and cereals,  but not a hay replacer- it would work out rather expensive!

I hope Robert will soon be able to join to answer questions here- he is coming over the last week in July, so will get him signed up then!!

Well, Laura and I have just had dinner with Robert and his partners at the Mendip Stud, John  and Lou. I can truly say I have seldom spent an evening in such like company. Truly for the horse, in every aspect and absolutely of the same philosophy as those of us at EE, I could not wish for a better company to promote, as I believe totally in the feeds, but also, in the ethos of the people who run it.

Laura as a former nutritionist for two major feed companies, is similarly impressed and we look forward to a long and happy association between us.

We will be adding more info to our website soon, and also will have some pics of Robert and Christine's lovely Lusitano stallion and their other horses in Portugal. We will be adding an 'Ask Robert' forum, whereby members can ask Robert questions on feeding and nutrition, and I can truly state that you will not be fed, if you will pardon the pun, a stream of sales spiel for his products. Robert is a lecturer on nutrition too, and I know will give guidance in an unbiased way, regarding any feed, not just his own.

 rofl OK up to speed!

Just want to add here too that I have customers whose horses have been on Fibre Gold feeds for over a year and they looked REALLY well.  Lou & John really have done wonders with the FG feeds.  Brilliant stuff!  And as you say - such lovely people too! Smiley

I would like to try this too as we have a stockist in Worksop   thumbs thumbs thumbs

Can you buy single sacks or do you need to buy a load like with Simple Systems?  I like the idea of a 'whole' feed and though I'd probably still get Lucienuts (for clicker training) and Ruff Stuff for extra forage I do like the idea of Fibre Gold as a bucket feed.

Fantastic  thumbs thumbs thumbs  I'll have to try some now we're coming into winter (she doesnt' eat feeds in the summer!).

I like SS and she does well on it but they don't make it easy to buy.  I have to buy a minimum of £65 worth at a time whether I need it or not which I can't do at the moment plus, of course, there's storing the stuff!

I'll let you know how we get on  thumbs

Let us know how Saffi likes it Lynne, we too have such a problem storing all the SS, it would be bliss to move down to 1 bin, who stocks it in Warsop??
