Looking forward to receiving my DVD!  Sent off for it last week, it is a great perk of the membership, being a Yorkshire lass, I love a freebie!!!  Cheesy

Remember it is not about training the horse, Becky- I am riding one I have never seen before and using her as a substitute simulator!! laugh

Come on everyone  nod  Please dont let Heather be put off making more DVDs.  I thought it was great and was planning on watching it again soon.  Crazy that only 30 or so people have taken advantage of a such a fantastic offer especially as it is a freebie  wink

I had a few lightbulb moments  doh going to watch again as I want to get my head around the sequence of footfalls to help with when to ask for canter transitions etc.
I have had a couple of little sits on my youngster this week mostly just practicising mounting and getting her to stand nicely at the mounting block.  We have also had 2 short walk and halt sessions and I have been using alternate leg with the swing of her belly and using my seat for halt.  In the few minutes I have been on her she has learnt so much and really got it.  Just seems so much easier!!
These are things I picked up on from reading Heathers book several years ago but I havent had a rideable horse for a long time so only just getting the chance to put it all into action, it really helped me to see it all on the DVD.

Sorry rambling now  Embarrassed laugh

I wont be put off making more, Janet, at least not those that will instead be for sale. I sometimes think that when something is free, people think it wont be worth bothering with!! cc_confused

Excellent news Heather - I was getting worried there for a bit  wink
Also have to recommend the DVD, I think anyone with a copy of Heather's book should have it as it brings to life what she writes about. I thought it was excellent  thumbs
