I was wondering if anyone would be up for compiling a little list of books they would recommend people read.  Here is some that I can think of.

Enlightened Equitation
Tug of war classical v Modern Dressage
Centered Riding (I found some of the visualisation exercises useful)
Schooling horses in- hand
Perfect Partners - Kelly Marks

May add some others later.  Anyone else have any recommendations.  Smiley

I would add for riders at a fairly basic level:

Real Riding by Perry Wood
How to Create the Perfect Riding Horse by Perry Wood
Bombproof Your Horse by Rick Pelicano

Here is one a friend gave me to read:

"Misconceptions and Simple Truths in Dressage" - Dr H L M van Schlaik
A thought-provoking enquiry into the current state of international dressage.

Another one received as a Christmas present from my daughter:

"Henriquet on Dressage" - Michel Henriquet / Catherine Durand
This is a book that will satisfy and inform all who seek guidance on working in the true classical tradition.

Happy reading.

More to follow  wave
