Better Rider, Better Ride

Here's a new fitness book designed to help you improve your riding with specific exercises. It identifies common riding problems and how to correct them through specific exercises. To this end, it includes a self-test to allow you to accurately asses your current fitness level. You can then establish a detailed program from these exercises, to improve your posture, reaction times, body composition, balance and coordination. Clear color photos demonstrate each exercise, for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, all presented in a tone that is both inspirational and supportive

Well, I got it and it is going to go back.  Hubby had a look and thought it really did not contain anything different from the majority of exercise books.

He did buy me an easter present in the form of this Official Body Control Pilates Manual: The Ultimate Guide to the Pilates Method - For Fitness, Health, Sport and at Work  Hubs had a good look through (he is a martial arts instructor, and a very good one - biased me?  laugh) and said it explains exercises well and is a good book for strengthening core muscles etc. I tell you I have no core after 5 kiddies!  ouch

My Pilates instructor reccommends the Body Contol book too. It's the only Pilates book she has for sale in her studio.

Lucky you having a Martial Arts Instructor to hand  Cheesy

I have no core strength after three kids....let alone five.

My core strength has vanished.  Really felt it after having Isla last year.  I may have an MA instructor to hand but I have never taken advantage of him (in that way  laugh ).  Keep meaning to though!

I am always trying to gain weight though and hate being skinny - never happy are we?  doh
