Jaynie will do the pictures later when she's feeling less sad, but I thought Id just remember him here now.

We hadn't had him long just a couple of years.

He was bought for Jaynies daughter Phoebe and he proved to be the most wonderfully kind and gentle childs pony ever, he seemed to know when there was a small person close so would tread with care so not to tread on tiny toes.

He had the sweetest little face with huge brown kind eyes.

Phoebe had just one season riding him in lead rein classes [with me 'granny' looking a total muppet running alongside them] it was fun while it lasted.

nu nu had always been a pampered show pony so I suppose it was a huge shock for him to land up with us, where he was allowed to roll in the mud, grow his hair and be a bit of a hippy!.....

He developed a passion for may blossom, bog weed, and mud.

He passed away on Sunday with the last of this summers sun on his back after being fed apples, cereal bars 'and christmas pudding'.

We have remembered him with a rose bush named 'remember me'. planted next to the grave of our pony clipper at the top of our field

Loosing a loved one be that human or animal is dreadfully sad regardless of the reason for that passing, nu nu was a delight, a lovely kind and gentle creature who filled our lives with joy.
