I'm sure this boy was sent down from heaven to protect me, he saved my life, i wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for him protecting me and putting his own life in danger.  Thank you my baby boy i will never ever forget you nor what you did for me and what we've been through over the years together.xxxx

(Ross had to be put down this evening at 17.48 at Paws Veterinary Practice in Nuneaton after a long battle with cancer, after his op last year he was given a maximum of 8 months too live, he lived for 12 months bar a few days.
However, it was not his cancer that got him back, it was his failing liver which suddenly stopped working properly on saturday afternoon).

Roscoe you have been my little treasure for the best 6.5 years that i have owned you, the day i got you i will never forget as you jumped on my lap and licked and kissed me.

You are my platinum babe and i will miss you terribly, i'm still talking to you now, cus then i know you will still be with me.

I hate that you will miss Lilly grow up and she will not remember you properly, but i'm glad you were able to meet her and i'm glad you are not suffering anymore.

Love you with all my heart, i will never ever have another dog and i will treasure our moments together for ever.

Please rest in piece and run free as you were able to do a few days ago, i miss you so much baby, love your mummy.xxxx

..... he's only gone to wait for you in a lovely world with a perfect new body.  And he'll be with you in your heart and mind until you meet again.

Thank you very much for all of your kind words and thanks to everybody who gave him healing vibes last year - they worked - he lived 4 months longer than expected.

Lilly has looked in every room today and keeps shouting for her dog, i just don't know how to tell her that he's not coming back, i never thought that this day would come and it has so quickly.

Thanks again.xxxx

Oh I'm so very sorry - I was just wondering how he was doing the other day.  cry cry cry

How wonderful a friend he was - and I'm sure he'll continue to look over you in spirit.

He was an amazing fighter, and I'm glad that you had, and were able to treasure those extra months with him.

Hugs to Lily as well, I'm sorry she had to learn of death and loss so soon.

Biggest hugs

So sorry to hear this Kerry, but dont limit yourself to never having another dog. I am sure Ross wouldnt want this- each is special in their own way. I still miss my greyhound, Flash, terribly, he was so much MY dog, right from the first moment he saw me, as a rescue dog, three years old.

Right now, you won't want to think about getting another, but in time, dont feel that you are being disloyal to Ross, you wouldnt be.  hug
