Run free Whisky my boy

Whisky left us this morning peacefully and quietly with his mouth full of food - run free little man, go and find your old mate Nelly and tell her all the gossip.
You came into my life 8 years ago and gradually gave me your trust and friendship; it was so special when you gave me a hug or allowed me to cuddle you. Right up until you left us, you were a joy to have around and such a beautiful boy.
I'll miss you my little dun boy.

My thoughts are with you... Hold fast to the memories throughout the tears, and know that you have shared something special. He will be waiting for you.

Always know that you did a brave, generous and loving thing for Whisky. He's now running free without a failing body holding him back.
Big hugs, I know how much it hurts, but remember the good times, the love and the sharing, it never goes away.
