Help please ..very boring but would anyone mind looking at these cardboard boxes and letting me know if they look ok and aren,t overpriced Cheesy
I,ve never had to buy moving boxes before and i,m quite simply overwhelmed. As i have a lot of books they need to be sturdy...

All opinions much appreciated http://www.housemovesupplies.co.uk/doubleboxmovingkits1.asp

(I was looking at moving kit A2 with a few more book boxes)

Looks ok to me  Smiley. When we last moved we had good old tea chests for our books, 18 of them in the end  Shocked. Then it took us months to get rid of/palm off the blooming tea chests.

At least you'll be able to fold the boxes up flat.

Just one thing though - you always need far more boxes than you'll ever imagine. Once you start opening the cupboards and draws and trying to pack it all, let alone the books......you have my deepest sympathy  Cheesy

any way you could get some boxes from a wine shop?  they are terrific for packing books - very strong and small enough to handle without hernia!

Second the advice about SMALL boxes for books - it's unbelievable how much they weigh ...

Also I would recommend getting boxes that look attractive (or that you can paint, or similar) as you will still have stuff in them, unpacked, in 'x' years time!  whistle Cheesy

(At least, we have!)

Another vote for the boxes from the local off licences, they're usually glad to give you them for free and don't get too heavy to lift when full of books.
