So, Sunday was moving day, Bea loaded well, then off again and another horse on who was being dropped off on the way (since he would not load with Bea on already), then Bea back on, then drove to the first place, Bea off, other horse off, Bea back on, then 10 mins down the road and we got to Bea's new home.

Her stable was all ready and waiting, to I put her in while we unloaded all my other accumulated tack, jumps, grooming stuff, feed, and yard rubbish. Then said good by to my old yard manager and her horsebox and then put a rug on and turned Bea out.

She was in a small field next to the field with the three horses she will be turned out with.  So there was a bit of "Hi, How are you?" over the wall.  Then a bit of grazing and after an hour I took her in again and had to leave her.

The next morning I took her for a walk round the outdoor school and then turned her out by her self again. and the same again the next day, only went to look round the indoor school.

Yesterday morning I could not go to see her as I was helping my old yard manager move her horses, I got back to sheffield at about 4pm to be met by snow, so got to the yard resigned to just giving Bea a fuss and a groom, to be met by the yard manager saying that the indoor school was free at 5pm.  So I got to ride Bea for the first time at her new yard Cheesy  I love having an indoorschool!

OK, so its not that big, but good enough to have a walk and trot, and it did not talke her long to settle down to work, and then we ended with a long bit of free walk.

So, so far we are happy in our new home, and photos will follow soon!

I know I soooo need to up load some photos for you all of Bea in her new home - although anyone with the current issue of Equestrian Life magazine might have spotted her on the index page looking good in the snow, and again on page 7.

Anyway, I have now had Bea 2 years! we have had our ups and downs, but far more of the ups I am pleased to say.  I am hoping that you are coming to Smeltings again this year Heather, since I really want to see how we are getting on now she is rising six and I think at a point we need to do some propper work.

It has been a while since my last post, I have been away on tour with my band and then lots of work getting in the way too.  Last time you all heard about Bea we were coming out of her box rest from her injory.  On monday this week we had our first outing from the yard to the local RC for a jumping clinic.  First half was showjumping second half was working hunter.  Looks like we need to work on collection of canter and me having more faith in our abilities.

Anyway, heres the photos:
