We've been on our National News.
You can watch the report, although it's in Portuguese.

Since then we had LOTS of emails to reply... but not real help... some people wanted "free donkeys", as garden ornaments...  rolleyes our country is remarcable...  rolleyes

On site we only have fewer donkeys, other are placed elsewhere.
But they look happy donkeys. Such was such warming feeling to watch!  Cheesy

Its a shame I can't understand a word but the video is lovely - I would soooo love a pair of the darker donkeys to drive.  I was planning on shetlands but I think they would cause a racket over here!

i am so grateful i was able to meet the donks......what lovable characters!  and Diogo too  wink
it warms my heart that we are all able to contribute, to help such a good cause  Embarrassed .

I helped Diogo to get the donkeys and the stable more presentable during my lunchtime, and then I had to leave just before the journalists arrived.
