Fizz - Connies?  Characters?  Where'd you here that?  laugh

Mrsmurchin - he did love your scratches.  He's a little  devil for a bum scratch

Whispersmum - you certainly have seen me on SU  whistle

Heather - he loves helping with buckles on rugs and you can't leave one lying around as he will pick it up and throw it around.  Hel likes helping remove brushing boots too when I've undone the velcro  laugh And I too am a greyaholic!  wub

Epona - he's a little speed  devil when he wants to be, which is the majority of the time.

Since having the Fhoenix Shadow has developed the largest bounciest trot that feels like he's literally skipping along.  Am so pleased I bit the bullet and joined the HM saddle club  notworthy

Hello everyone  Smiley

I'm a complete newbie round here, and also appear to be the token bloke, a role I've got used to within the riding world  laugh

This is Jester, 18 now and the pair of us just beginning to enjoy a new lease of riding life:

Poor lad has put up with me since he was just 4.....he's TBxID, originally bred in Ireland (which could explain a lot  laugh) I had pretensions about going eventing when I was younger and dafter and actually thought I could ride - he soon put me right  Smiley

Hello Stu - lovely to have you on board!! I hope you enjoy it here!

There are a few other blokes who post, though not as often as they should!! Maybe you should start a blokes only thread to tempt them out!

jester is beautiful - what a kind face he has!

Hello  wave

I used to lurk here and posted occasionally a few years ago. I have only just got around to subscribing  Embarrassed

I am owned by Tali, an opinionated 14.2hh pony who thinks he is a big horse. I am told he is from Ireland, but I suspect the dealer I got him from says all the horses they sell are "Irish"... He looks like he has a large dollop of welsh cob in him. He is 8 years old, but in some ways is quite green for his age. Until 6 months ago I had him on working livery at a riding school and was very restricted with what I could do with him (no hacking because the roads were too dangerous, no jumping or polework when riding alone due to yard rules). I got fed up with this, with the increasing amount of muppets riding him and with a lot more than that so I moved him 6 months ago and began the task of reschooling him, teaching him to hack out sensibly, and regaining my confidence in my own abilities as a rider and horse-owner. Sadly my OH still has his horse, Ollie, at the old yard and will not move!!

This is Tali:

Besides Tali I am owned by three cats. Tinker is now at least 20 and is sadly showing her age these days. Rosie and Pheobe are both 9 months old hooligans and totally mental.
Not the best pic, but one of the few I have of all three together. Tinker is the black, Rosie the dark tortie, and Pheobe the grey/cream tortie:

If anyone wants to be bored silly with the daily exploits of Tali you are welcome to visit his blog, linked in my signature.

Hi Belle,

Welcome! Great to have you come out of lurkdom! Tali is a very handsome pony- better not say 'pretty' if he thinks he is actually 17.2hh laugh. To me, he could well be a Welsh Cob x Arab, which is a particularly nice cross and often 'nicks' better than the TB/Welsh.

Lovely cats too, I miss having them and keep tempting myself with another one, but with being away such a lot, it isnt fair on my elderly parents to have to look after yet another animal!

Anyway hope you will join in the conversations now!
