Ah, poor you  :'(   My mum has chickens and I just love spending time with them.  Over the years 3 have died and I have been in tears every time....much to my friend's confusion as I am not a weepy person as a whole, but they have such wonderful individual characters and are lovely to be around.  I think if everyone had chickens the world would be a happier place (and one with more omelettes!)
