Harry

In loving memory of dear little Harry dog, who was never one moment's trouble in all of his 9 years.
Harry was a Lancashire Heeler and was bought as a companion for our JRT Sweep who didn't like being left on his own, but as it happened it made no difference :
. He was bred by a Best in Show judge at Cruft's who called him Ryslip Robson (after Robson Green who she secretly fancied!). Sweep and Harry had a love/hate relationship, they were usually friends but on occasion (esp. if there was a chew involved) Sweep would turn into the Tasmanian Devil from hell - but always came off worse!
Harry was so obedient, he was house trained within two weeks and never ever had an accident in the house (until just recently). He would always do as he was told, but had a little character all of his own. He loved to scout ahead on our walks, was very agile and never got himself dirty.
He was a brilliant watchdog, faithful unto the last and is sorely missed :'(
RIP special little man

Hugs Gill. What a wonderful dog he was! Lucky you had each other - I hope the good memories keep you warm.

Ps I moved your original thread here as well, as there were some lovely comments and it seemed a shame for them to get lost in the ether - obviously you can move it back if you want

What a gorgeous boy :'( Time's a great healer and one day you'll be looking at those photos and instead of tears you'll be smiling, remembering what an incredible boy he was. RIP little man.

As Phillipa says, time is a healer, although it heals too slowly for our liking... :(
It gets better by the day... but they are always here, in our heart.

Harry looks like a real Happy Harry. I'm sure where ever he's playing now and whoever he's playing with he's having as good a time as he had with you Gill.
bet you're needing them now. Know how devastating it is losing a member of your family and part of your life. Our animals are just that. Family.
