With kind permission from Heather...... The poor little fella in Chapsi's thread 'Alice in donkeyland' needs a bit of love and a good home. He has a sow mouth (opposite to parrot mouth i.e undershot jaw) and is struggling with his weight, as the owner cannot give enough specific time to him without giving less time to the others. Now I can give him the home, but being out of work cannot afford all the transport cost on my own. Are any of you willing to donate a few pounds to help me rescue this poor lad? Please don't feel obliged just because you come on the forum but any help to save 'Tabs' will be greatly appreciated. If you can drum up money from elsewhere please do. To start the ball rolling I will donate the £100 I have just won in a prize draw. THANK YOU ALL Yvonne. n.b. Tabs is a Nottinghamshire slang name for Ears ........

Have sent my little bit.
Good on ya Von!
How much do you need to raise to get him and when can we see a picture.
Perhaps people could sponsor him for a Christmas Pressie for some kids?

Just a thought .... would any of the transport companies who regularly do the run help? Lucks? Parkers? Perhaps they might be able to squeeze the little chap in. Surely worth asking?

Wow, what a wonderful initiative. I cannot seem to use paypal either so can you pm me your address, and also, I'm not sure I've understood right -- you are taking him on yourself, are you?
