I found this on youtube and thought it was intresting.  Rather than a ball they used a laser pointer as a target.

I used clicker training to teach our African Grey to wave and boogie !. ( Boogie consisted off him bobbing up and down on que to the word and later to a hand signal) very intelligent birds that love to learn. Unfortunatley he died earlier this year  :'( RIP Coco
