Please bare with me here I haven't been on for a few days now and have some lovely pics to show for it! ;D
I was in Alamosa, Colorado to see the Sand Hill Crane Migration. Every year they fly through on their way up north to breed.
We had one heck of a sunset one night.

Few more. There is also a fish farm in Alamosa and they have Alligators there to eat the heads and guts after processing the fish. They are on a hot springs so the alligators are outside year round and it is a pretty big attraction, alligators in a very land locked state and all is something to see.

Thanks guys, we had so much fun and the mountains always take my breath away
! I love reptiles so I had to put up the alligators. One of the guys there was nice enough to let me hold one! It was only a few months old so at that age a bite feels like a clothes pin, but still. ;D

It's exciting to see big migration birds coming or going.
Here we have storks.
I went once to the Everglades, but we saw ridiculous tiny alligators! I was disappointed... :(
