Awwww, he's lovely!!

We have a little birdie too (although he detests me!!) - Chico is an orange-winged Amazon:

He gets a shower with the plant spray and then wipes himself all over my lace panels!!:

And to prove you can have birds and cats here he is telling off our Tonkinese Claudius when he was a kitten:

We have three cats (including a Bengal) and none of them bother with him, we've trained them not to (with the help of the plant spray) and also Chico can make himself pretty fierce when he wants to!!

My Siamese have already learnt that bird tastes good  :(   It must be a source of joy to have that bright burst of colour fly past in the house and cheer you up.  I once took care of two parrots, who I loved, but to be honest I was a little wary of them!

I have a Siamese too and he is the least bothered of the three - mind you the bird was here before them and we got them all as kittens so they have grown up knowing Chico is out of bounds.

Chico does a fab impression of our Bengal Morph miaowing - sounds just like him!!

Sara I love your amazon! wub

My boy's name is Strawberry, he used to have a mate named Kiwi but she died some years ago.  He is a little nuts, no he isn't hand tamed.  He flys off if you try to pick him up, he will land on you but you can't touch him at all! He loves his baths and I have been meaning to take pictures of him bathing and finally got around to it.
He is a hybred lovebird, half fishers and half american pied (I think) so he is a bit like a mule, steril

The fish, Oscar, is a Betta (siamese fighting fish) he was looking very pitiful in his little cup in the store and now has a nice big tank to play in. I stuck a divider in the tank and he shares it with Felix
