Hipsaver Turtle Report!

I got my turtle Hipsaver this week for my London saddle and had my first ride in it today! Very speedy service from the shop btw, it arrived in Australia in just over a week.
The turtle fits the number 2 London but the London is a different shape at the back from the Cheyenne so it does look a bit untidy. The seat of the London top bit is wider and covers the whole saddle so with the turtle isn't quite wide enough at the back.
Now to the ride! It certainly gives more of a twist and took away the sensation I had of sitting in a bit of a hole! My leg could drop down straighter. But strangely considering my leg felt longer, I felt like I needed to take my stirrups up a bit.
The suede was nice and grippy as I had felt that the seat on the London was a bit slippery.
The foam was nice but as the London has a very squishy seat anyhow it wasn't a massive difference.
Will report later on whether it helped my hips as pony moved as I got on and I hurt my hip, lol.

Hi JUles P,
So we need to make a different one for the London? Hmm- will be seeing Horsefreak's one this afternoon, so will have a think. Most riders need to take your stirrups up a bit with a Seatbone Saver as it lifts you higher up

Hi Heather,
Yeah it needs a different shape at the back. Instead of the round bit that the cheyenne has, the seat bit on the London covers the whole of the cantle. Hope that makes sense.
Cheers
