Thought I would do an update as I have had the saddle for a while now. Pony is still happy and I am still loving it. Pony was a bit girthy before the London and a couple of months into the London she is still happy to be girthed. Her back is looking nice and strong, no physical problems happening.

I still feel like I ride well in it. Rising trot is sooo easy. It is putting me in a good position and not interferring with my riding.

Probably my only whinge is I am not 100% happy with the girth as it galls pony. The wintec girth didn't give as good stability. I am using a sleeve on the girht which is stopping the galling.

I have also ordered the turtle as the old hips are a bit dodgy and a bit more of a twist would be nice. Hopefully it will be here soon!

It is probably the first saddle that I have continued to like after the intial breaking in period.

For girths - I've just bought an Aerborn (I think?) waffle weave girth - it was £19 from my local saddlers - really comfy for Ebby, and I think much nicer than the Wintec ones -  it's shaped as well, and is elasticated. It worked great yesterday when we were going down hills Smiley

huumfff can't get heaps of this stuff in Australia. Don't think the Stubben was small enough either. Need a 16 inch girth.
