What a sad story!   My kids are 3 and 5 and lost their pony (from Cushings) last NZ winter. They often tell me how much they miss him and wish he was still with them! My little boy drew a picture of his pony and "sent it to God" (up the chimney!) so's He would look after Lofty for him. Little Dawn looks lovely. I hope you and your little ones can find solace and enjoy her despite losing Penny so suddenly.

so sad!  I remember the photos when you put them up the first time, Louis look so proud of himself and "in charge", penny certainly gave him the gift of confidence!!
