Can anyone help me devise Woody one?

He's been basically 90% of work for months now, but I'm getting a saddle (fingers crossed) in the next couple of days so work can finally begin Smiley I think we'll need to do a lot of walking not only to get him fit but to build the muscles up around his pelvis to make it more comfortable - he broke it when he was younger and its never really been treated, but physio has recommended that we ride him (dont quite understand that myself but..) He also has two fused bonespavins and windgalls, and his ribcage and neck tend to lock up sometimes, but was planning to start massage and stretches with him also to help this Smiley

Anyway, I have access to a menage without floodlights, so I cant really ride in the evenings, but I have farmland I can ride around (which he really enjoys!) as well as a small heap/hill. Other hacking is basically roads with the occasional field.

I can also lunge - was thinking of maybe getting hold of a pessoa for the later stages of the plan? Just to help him carry himself a bit.

He's 14 and I would like to have him fit for spring - he's not clipped but I guess its too late for that now anyway?

Thanks in advance Smiley
