well all i can say really is
'WOW' with a huge

on my face
i had me EE lesson today and it was FAB it was brillant :P
now i no how and finally what to do
friend and i both had lesson was both poping our pants  friend went first so i watched a little bit wilst trying to also sort amber out! and to my amazment herbie (friends horse)changed in front of my eyes he was like a completly diffrent horse he first had really flat trot and then jill explained a few things couldnt really hear was really WINDY! and then a horse that i have never seen before really springgy trot and lovely outline and friend didnt even need to harly move it was one of those light bulb moments for her so then i got all excited about my lesson so went a tacked up
My lesson
walked in the school and amber headed straight for the big puddle and started splashing around (jill must have thought oh no what have we got here  ) then jill asked me to walk trot canter amber so i did and amber seemed rather pi**ed off that she had to work (havent been in the menage for a while just been hacking out lots)so then jill pulled me back in and i explained about old lessons and the way i had been taught to do things with amber and jill couldnt believe that me old instructor told me not to worry about making her work properly! (well using her body properly)
jill also picked up that amber was a very cheeky, strong willed,do it my way or the high way type of horse and then amber soon realised that jill was also do it my way or the high type of person He He He amber was a bit shocked  that i was asking her to work properly in an outline and me not holding her head for her
alot of the lesson was teaching amber to not tense up and hold the bit but to hold her own head for herself it took alot of persasion and lots of work to do this she is very stubben but with brillant explaining from jill it was like riding a completly diffrent horse a pleasure to ride when she got it and she was picking it up very well at the end of the lesson.
I had also been taught by previous teacher to really get amber moving really forward and Jill explained that i i have been taught to push her out of her own rythem (she said alot of people dont realise that horse like iberian andalusian Friesian etc need diffrent approches training wise to some diffrent breeds they are all very diffrent) so we worked on slowing the trot down aswel and by the end of the lesson i couldnt believe i was riding amber it really was an amazing experience and really kicking myself for wasting all this time with previous trainer thank god i have

found jill i just cant wait for my next lesson
we also then sorted my rishing out i didnt have to rise so high anymore hardly had to leave my seat i harldy had to do anything :P
also were i have been ridning her in no outline as didnt really no how she has lost ALOT of muscle around her front area so hopefully i can work on that now
she also recommended to add some clicker training to her training aswel as she is the type of horse that would really improve with it as she is always concerned at what is going on around her instead of me so alot of my problem is to keep her attention and she said this should keep it well
well there are probly a few things i have missed but i will add if i think of anything but all in all i had the best lesson of my life today and i cant get the smile of my face same as my friend i just cant belive the diffrence in amber from a few minor adjustments it was amazing it really was
welli can def say i think i have converted a few people to the EE way (well Jill anyway)a few people was wacthing lesson and all come up to me and said how well amber looked and if they can watch my next lesson and maybe ask jill for a lesson lots of people became interested because they could see such a change in amber.
sorry to keep going on but i just loved my lesson and i love my horse now i have finally found a trainer that can help me with amber
thanks Jill (and just thought i would add not good at explaining things well so please bare with me :stupid: )
