Hijack???

And why are we discussing piaffe?

Your book clearly states that there is impulsion in walk.  This is incorrect.

The original post states that Rolkur is the fault of the judges.

I have asked what it is the judges can do differently.

There has been no response.

Please remove me from your members list whilst I still have my sanity.

Thank you and goodbye. Smiley

Your attitude on this thread has seemed rather puzzling at times *BB*. If you are sure you would like me to remove your membership, of course I will. However, if you would like to remain then please do take the time to read the Forum Rules and Guidelines which we ask members to abide by.

The sarcasm and other inflammatory remarks in evidence on this thread are not in accordance with the above guidelines. Please try to refrain from commenting in this way and act in a mature and civilised manner. Thank you and I will now close this thread, if Heather does not mind.

Well!! You really do amaze me!!It doesnt matter what anyone says here, you would, it seems, argue black is white!! I prefer the correct meaning of 'impulsion' as defined in our most esteemed dictionary, to anything that has been misappropriated ( or even mistranslated, when there is no direct equivalent, as often happens when translating German to English for instance) in the dressage rules- which as we have already established, are often not adhered to by the judges!!

There are indeed very good judges out there- no question about that, but there are also plenty that are not.

What can be done to improve the situation? Perhaps better ask Klaus?- or maybe, you disagree with even him, that he isn't correct in his belief that something needs to be done to preserve classical principles and a return to humane training in competition?

I am sorry that you feel like this about our forum, but it is rare that we come across anyone as antagonistic and self righteous as you!!
