All my horses are now shoeless, so I want to put them all in the one paddock together... I think.

At the moment Mate and Goldie are together and Blackie and Sammy are together. They are in adjacent paddocks.

Mate was a stallion until he was 4, so he is very dominant with other horses, he loves little Goldie who couldn't care less about him really . Sammy was also a stallion till he was 4 and is dominant. Blackie is happy to follow along with whatever.

Mate and Sammy are going to be the problem I think, they both 'own' their buddy and will not want the other to talk to them. Goldie is old, small and not 100% sound so I don't want her to harrassed, Sammy is old too lol, but well capable of standing up for himself, its just that goldie is 3 hands smaller than the rest of them...

So what do you think? Just put them all out together and let them sort it out? Or should I introduce them individually? Maybe I should put Mate and Sammy out together first, let them sort it and then put Goldie and Blackie with them?
